The Dam Area Central Day-use area offers three baseball/softball fields, four lighted tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball court, physical fitness trail, and two playgrounds (One playground is ADA accessible.) .

There are two picnic shelters which can be reserved for large family or group gatherings.

The entrance of the Dam Area Central Day-Use Area is located at the corner of Old HWY 7 and the road below the dam (Mississippi 333 Scenic Loop).
